Job brief:

Designation: GM – Audit & Compliance

• Experience: 8 to 15 Years

Job Summary:

The GM – Audit & Compliance is responsible for driving financial discipline, project-level audits, and adherence to internal processes across Flipspaces. The role ensures strong governance, timely reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting across projects, procurement, and business units.

. Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Audit & Controls

· Conduct weekly/monthly reviews of receivables and payables, including ageing and movement analysis.

· Link receivable/payable movements to new orders, revenue flow, order book status, and cash flow.

· Validate vendor invoices, contracts, purchase orders, and supporting documentation before processing payments.

· Ensure timely and accurate financial reconciliations during month-end and project closure.

2. Project-Level Audit

· Perform weekly/monthly project reconciliation with Finance and Project Management teams.

· Ensure statutory and operational compliance at project level (GST, insurance, basic documentation).

· Track project budget vs. actuals and highlight deviations proactively.

· Identify risks, delays, or variances and drive corrective action with relevant stakeholders.

3. Procurement & Operational Compliance

· Ensure adherence to the P2P process including vendor onboarding, rate card compliance, and completeness of documentation.

· Monitor correct usage of Vizdom, Procurement Dashboard, and CSC workflows to ensure data accuracy.

· Support procurement in tracking commercial documentation and strengthening internal controls.

4. Business Unit Process Audit

· Sales: Pipeline hygiene and CRM accuracy (basic checks).

· Procurement: Compliance to P2P flow.

· Projects: Documentation, approvals, change orders, and commercial flows.

· Finance: Control checks and documentation discipline.

· Publish audit findings with clear red-flag reporting and follow-ups.

5. SOP & Checklist Governance

· Maintain audit checklists for Finance, Procurement, and Projects.

· Ensure adherence to internal SOPs and policies through data-driven reporting.

· Track process exceptions and drive closure with responsible teams.

Key Outcomes Expected

· Strong financial control and reporting discipline.

· Accurate receivable/payable movement tracking.

· Predictable project-level performance and timely reconciliation.

· Reduced operational and financial leakages.

· Standardized internal reporting across functions.

Qualifications & Skills:·

· Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA) – Strongly preferred.

· MBA in Finance from a recognized institution (preferred).

· Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or CPA will be considered a strong advantage.

· Strong foundation in: Audit & Assurance Accounting Standards Internal Controls & Compliance Frameworks Risk Management Financial Management.

· Strong financial control and reporting discipline.

· Accurate receivable/payable movement tracking.

· Predictable project-level performance and timely reconciliation.

· Reduced operational and financial leakages.

· Standardized internal reporting across functions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
