Manager, Business Development (Bank Lending and Partnerships)

Rentify is building the rails for smarter renting in the UAE, combining seamless rent payments with embedded finance and rewards. We work with banks, lenders, landlords, and lifestyle partners to make renting more flexible for tenants and more reliable for property owners.

We’re hiring a Manager, Business Development from a fintech background to build and scale our bank lending relationships, while also owning fintech and rewards partnerships. This is a high-growth role working closely with the founders, with strong learning, progression, and long-term financial upside for high performers.

What you’ll own

Bank lending partnerships (core)

  • Build relationships across bank lending, credit, risk, product, compliance, and partnerships teams
  • Pitch, structure, and close lending partnerships tied to rent payments (instalments, credit products, consumer finance)
  • Drive deal execution end-to-end: commercial terms, approvals, legal, launch planning
  • Own performance post-launch: funnel conversion, approvals, disbursals, volumes, and partner scorecards

Fintech partnerships

  • Develop partnerships with payment and fintech players to improve onboarding, collections, and reliability
  • Coordinate integrations with Product and Tech and ensure delivery against timelines

Rewards partnerships

  • Build a rewards partner portfolio (cafes, retail, wellness, subscriptions, etc.) that drives acquisition and retention
  • Negotiate offers and redemption mechanics, and work with Marketing/Product to launch and measure results

What success looks like

  • New bank/lender partnerships closed and launched, with measurable impact on approvals and disbursals
  • Strong pipeline management with clear stages, timelines, and forecast accuracy
  • Fintech and rewards partnerships that drive user growth, engagement, and better unit economics

What we’re looking for

  • 5–8 years in partnerships / business development in fintech, payments, lending, or banking
  • Proven track record working with banks and navigating credit/risk/compliance stakeholders
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, and comfort with ambiguity and execution
  • Metrics-driven, organised, and able to run multiple workstreams end-to-end
  • Clear communicator, confident with senior stakeholders, and collaborative with cross-functional teams
