The Manager Career Services and Development plays a pivotal role in advancing Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy-Les Roches mission and vision by empowering students to succeed in their career journeys and positioning the Academy as a leader in hospitality talent development. This role focuses on cultivating dynamic partnerships with industry, employers, and leadership while delivering innovative, student-centred career programs that connect classroom learning to real-world opportunities.
As a bridge between education and industry, they will design and lead initiatives that integrate career development into the student experience—ensuring graduates are prepared with the skills, networks, and confidence to thrive in a competitive global workforce.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and group career advising to help students clarify career goals, develop job search strategies, and strengthen professional skills.

Design and facilitate workshops, panels, and programs on career exploration, CV development, interviewing, networking, and lifelong learning.

Identify and cultivate relationships: Proactively seek out and build relationships with key decision-makers in hospitality organizations, industry associations, and relevant government agencies.

Data Tracking and Reporting: Use data-driven insights to monitor student success, evaluate employer interactions, and optimize partner collaboration.

Act and lead various projects and initiatives, as required by the Director of Industry, Career and Alumni Relations.
Education and Professional Qualifications:
Qualifications
-
Minimum of Bachelor's degree required in Education, Hospitality, Human Resources or related field. Post Graduate preferred.

Professional career counselling credentials (e.g., Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), Certified Career Services Provider, MBTI Practitioner) advantageous.

Training or certification in coaching, mentoring, (eg: International Coaching Federation (ICF), EMCC, CIPD Coaching & Mentoring) preferred.

Additional training in leadership coaching, youth development, or executive mentoring is highly valued.
Experience:

10+ years of experience in career services, employer relations, or student services, preferably in a higher education setting.

Demonstrated success in coaching and mentoring students, recent graduates, or young professionals to achieve career goals.
- Experience in program development, implementing career or professional development programs/workshops

Skilled in designing and delivering structured initiatives to support career growth, including mentorship programs, succession planning, and defined career pathways.
Knowledge and Skills:

The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, stakeholders, and internal colleagues is essential for collaboration, engagement and ensuring long-term partnerships.
