Basic Job Description

We are seeking for Manager (Civil) who will be responsible for managing all civil engineering and construction activities related to the distillery facilities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and compliance of the distillery's infrastructure. This position requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Project Management:

· Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

· Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and regularly report progress to senior management.

Infrastructure Design and Maintenance:

· Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to design, plan, and implement civil infrastructure projects for the distillery.

· Ensure the maintenance and repair of existing civil structures, including buildings, roads, drainage systems, and utilities.

Compliance and Safety:

· Ensure all civil engineering activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and safety standards.

· Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure work environment for all employees and contractors.

Vendor and Contractor Management:

· Select, hire, and manage contractors, architects, and engineering firms for civil projects.

· Negotiate contracts, review proposals, and ensure that contractors deliver work according to agreed-upon specifications.

Budget Oversight:

· Develop and manage budgets for civil engineering projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

· Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report budget variances to management.

Risk Management:

· Identify potential risks related to civil engineering projects and develop mitigation strategies.

· Proactively address challenges to prevent project delays or cost overruns.

Collaboration and Communication:

· Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, safety, and environmental teams.

· Report progress and updates to senior management and stakeholders regularly.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

· Provide regular reports on project status, milestones achieved, and potential challenges.

Qualifications and Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

· Proven experience in civil engineering and project management, preferably in the industrial or distillery sector.

· Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.

· Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Job Location: Bathinda (Punjab)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
