Manager - Commissioning (Offshore- WHTs, Subsea Cable & Piping, B/F'S)

Penspen is urgently looking to hire Commissioning Manager (Offshore WHTs, Subsea Cable & Piping, B/Fs) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Qualification Required

• The candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all commissioning activities for Offshore Wellhead Towers (WHTs), subsea cables, subsea piping systems, and associated brownfield/greenfield modifications
• Develop the Commissioning Execution Plan (CEP), commissioning philosophy, and system boundaries
• Prepare commissioning schedules, manpower plans, and resource requirements
• Lead commissioning of wellhead control panels, hydraulic systems, ESD/PSD systems, fire & gas systems, telecoms, and power distribution
• Oversee functional testing, leak testing, valve stroking, and wellhead instrumentation checks
• Supervise commissioning of HV/LV subsea power cables, fiber optic cables, and umbilicals.
• Manage commissioning interfaces between new installations and existing facilities
• Enforce strict compliance with HSE standards, PTW systems, SIMOPS, and offshore safety regulations
• Ensure all commissioning documentation (ITRs, FAT/SAT reports, test packs, redlines) is complete

Experience Required

• Minimum 20 to 25+ years of experience in offshore commissioning, including WHTs and subsea systems.
• Proven track record in offshore wellheads/ subsea cable/ piping for large-scale projects.
• Offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET/FOET, HUET, H2S) are often required
• PMC experience will be preferred
• Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage
