Manager Data Management

Responsibilities

• Develop and update the data management strategy to ensure alignment with the requirements of the National Data Management Office and to achieve optimal utilization of organizational data.
• Develop data management policies, procedures, and standards to enhance governance and ensure consistency across departments.
• Monitor the implementation of regulatory policies related to data governance and data protection to ensure full compliance with relevant national regulations.
• Oversee the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of organizational data to ensure its reliability and support informed decision-making.
• Implement corrective procedures and data remediation processes to improve and sustain data quality.
• Monitor compliance with personal data protection controls to ensure privacy and mitigate associated security risks.
• Manage and develop the organization’s master and reference data to enhance system integration and prevent duplication.
• Enable data sharing across departments and relevant entities in accordance with approved controls and policies to achieve institutional integration.
• Activate data classification practices and establish access and usage controls to ensure data security, confidentiality, and availability to authorized parties only.
• Implement internal awareness programs on the importance of data management and protection to promote a culture of governance and accountability in data handling.
• Provide technical and advisory support to various departments to ensure optimal data utilization and proper implementation of governance policies.
• Raise awareness of personal data protection requirements and compliance with national controls to foster a strong organizational data security culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of Experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in data management.
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of all computer programs and systems relevant to the nature of the role.
• Excellent communication and team-leadership skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
