Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Manager to oversee the operation of our decoration operation. Products are decorated through a variety of methods including etching, engraving, sublimation, direct to film, etc. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and be able to work will in a team environment. The candidate is responsible for handling projects from initial inquiry, design, sourcing, production, and accounting with an exceptional eye for detail and follow through

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the decoration, etching, engraving, and design teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Oversee the conceptualization and creation of award designs using digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Corel Draw, Sketch, and Art direction principles.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, translating ideas into innovative visual concepts.
• Ensure adherence to branding guidelines, color theory, typography standards, and layout design principles across all projects.
• Supervise the use of various techniques including laser engraving, etching, printing, and other decoration methods to produce durable and aesthetically appealing awards.
• Maintain quality control throughout the production process by reviewing designs in software like Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop before manufacturing.
• Stay updated on industry trends in graphic design, web design, photography, video production, print advertising, and related fields to enhance product offerings.
• Manage project timelines efficiently while motivating team members to meet or exceed performance goals.
• Support the development of new product lines by exploring innovative art direction and visual design strategies.

Experience

• Proven experience in graphic design or visual arts with a strong portfolio showcasing decoration or award-related projects.
• Extensive knowledge of digital design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw Figma, InVision, Sketch, and related tools.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing creative teams or production staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with branding principles, color theory, typography, layout design, web design concepts (HTML/CSS), photography techniques, and video editing is highly desirable.
• Prior experience working with laser engraving machines, etching, sublimation, direct to film or other decoration technologies is a plus.
• Strong understanding of marketing strategies related to promotional products or awards is beneficial.

Salary is negotiable if you bring your own book of business

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
