Manager Design

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager with strong technical expertise in designing firefighting systems as per NBC and NFPA codes in India. The candidate will lead the design function, manage a team of draughtsmen, and ensure delivery of accurate, efficient, and compliant design outputs for diverse projects across sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation, review, and finalization of firefighting system designs, drawings, and calculations.
• Ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA, IS, and other applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate with customer, consultant for approval of design drawings submitted.
• Coordinate with project, derive BOQ, and execution teams to provide design support during bidding and project execution.
• Manage, mentor, and monitor a team of draughtsmen, ensuring high-quality drawings and timely delivery.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and statutory bodies to resolve technical queries.
• Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve system efficiency and compliance.
• Stay updated with evolving codes, standards, and technologies in fire safety engineering.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Fire Engineering (or equivalent).
• 8–12 years of experience in firefighting system design.
• Strong knowledge of NBC, NFPA, and IS codes.
• Proven team management and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and design software tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
