Ideal candidate would live in the Southeastern United States: North Carolina, or South Carolina, or Georgia.
What you'll be doing:
Responsible for division plans and objectives that ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability. Supervisor responsibilities to include staffing, training and development, performance management, and workforce planning.
On any given day, you'll:
  • Develop division staff through coaching and a personal work plan to attain sales expectations.
  • Monitor employee and division results to support goal attainment.
  • Track sales and service activities for division and individual employee performance, taking corrective action as needed to meet objectives
  • Supervisor/Manager responsibilities may include all the following:
    • Staffing needs, to include interviewing and onboarding for new employees.
    • Training and development, as well as coaching and motivation for staff.
    • Performance management, goal setting, employee engagement, and salary administration.
    • Workforce management to include unit equipment, software, and space needs, approving time off, overtime usage, and budget recommendations
Here's what we expect:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Five to seven years successful experience in field insurance sales, sales administration, or related management experience.
  • Obtain and maintain proper insurance license.
  • Maintain valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities and ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships, at all levels, as required.
  • Ability to understand organizational structure and operation.
  • Able to work independently to specific performance standards and goals.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
  • Strong written/verbal presentation and listening skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in relationship building, decision-making, negotiation, and communication.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and explain various insurance policies.
  • Ability to learn and use job-related software to stay current with changes.

Exact compensation will vary based on consideration of a variety of factors including education, skills, experience, and location.

Compensation: 104,600 to 156,900
