A Restaurant Manager in Qatar directs daily Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) operations. Responsibilities include managing staff, enforcing strict hygiene and municipality regulations, controlling costs and inventory, and driving profitability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Core Responsibilities1. Operations & Compliance
- Local Regulations: Ensure strict adherence to Qatar municipality requirements, food safety standards, and hygiene codes.
- Daily Execution: Oversee opening, closing, and smooth workflow across shifts.
- Delivery Logistics: Manage third-party delivery apps (e.g., Talabat, Snoonu) and dispatching standards.
2. Staff Management
- Scheduling & Payroll: Maintain up-to-date duty rosters, leave planning, and attendance tracking.
- Training & Motivation: Conduct pre-shift briefings, train staff on proper hospitality etiquette, and monitor performance.
3. Financial & Inventory Control
- Cost Management: Prepare P&L statements, control operational expenses, and minimize waste.
- Stock Monitoring: Maintain proper inventory levels, order F&B supplies, and conduct regular stock takes.
4. Guest Satisfaction & Marketing
- Customer Service: Resolve guest complaints professionally and maintain high hospitality standards.
- Reputation Management: Monitor online reviews and coordinate with management to promote campaigns.
Typical Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 4 to 8 years of F&B operations experience (with at least 2+ years in a managerial role).
- Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in POS systems, financial reporting, team management, and bilingual communication
Pay: QAR3,300.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
