Manager- Formulation Sourcing

Sourcing Manager to be responsible for the identification and procurement of finished formulations, components, packaging and other key materials. The suitable candidate will also be responsible for developing cost reduction strategies, leading supplier contract negotiations, ensuring materials are suitable and meet regulatory requirements and providing information for regulatory dossier compilations. Should be well versed with CMO & In licensing.

Job Role:

1) Organize timely sourcing & procurement and transfer of materials to contract manufacturing organization (CMO)

2) Liaise with the Formulation team for timely Bill of Materials (BOM)

3) Drive the sample testing schedule with the Analytical team and present results for selection

4) Managing Third Party Manufacturing Operations starting from Price quotations to finalization of PO

5) Liaising with Clients for dispatch schedules of products from plant including Finalization of art works, follow up with purchase Department for printed packing and Raw Materials

6) Liaising with Production team for tentative as well as confirmed production schedule.

7) Managing purchase of finished goods and costing of the products (as required).

8) Initiate vendor assurance, supply agreements, quality agreements with QA Department, and credit terms and conditions (as required)

9) Assist quality department in supplier audits, investigation complaints, change control and monitoring GMP systems

10) Work closely with Project teams and maintain open and on-going communication with internal stakeholders regarding forward planning for production schedules, supplier, key negotiations and performance and lead times.

13) Reviewing agreements with the vendor, deciding agreements terms/payment terms/credit terms .

13) Travel to conduct audits, negotiations, etc. (as required).

Selection Criteria:

Minimum of 4-8 years' experience in pharmaceuticals procurement.

Purchasing and sourcing of finished formulation experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.

Technical/scientific understanding of GMP regulatory environment

Bachelor/master’s in pharmacy from reputed institute

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
