Manager - HR & Admin

Position Summary:

The Healthcare Operations Manager / Admin / HR Head is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, overseeing HR functions, and managing administrative processes within the healthcare facility. This role plays a key part in strategic planning, employee management, compliance, and supporting clinical departments to deliver efficient and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:1. Operations Management

  • Supervise and streamline day-to-day healthcare facility operations.
  • Implement and monitor SOPs for various departments (clinical and non-clinical).
  • Coordinate between departments (nursing, pharmacy, diagnostics, billing, etc.) to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Ensure availability of medical and non-medical supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor coordination.
  • Oversee patient admission, discharge, and feedback processes for service excellence.
  • Monitor and improve KPIs for patient satisfaction, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

2. Administration

  • Lead hospital administration including front desk, housekeeping, security, cafeteria, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and healthcare regulations (e.g., NABH, JCI, local health authority rules).
  • Maintain accurate records of licenses, accreditations, audits, and legal documents.
  • Budget planning and cost control for non-clinical departments.

3. Human Resources Leadership

  • Develop and execute HR policies in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Oversee payroll, attendance, leaves, and employee benefits administration.
  • Address employee grievances, maintain workplace discipline, and ensure a positive work culture.
  • Conduct employee engagement activities, health and safety programs, and training workshops.

4. Strategic & Financial Planning

  • Support leadership in business planning, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Analyze performance reports and suggest improvements in operational processes.
  • Identify areas for automation and digital transformation to increase efficiency.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, hospital workflows, and regulatory compliance.
  • Expertise in HR policies, labor laws, and people management.
  • Proficient in using hospital management systems (HMS), HRMS, and MS Office.
  • Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Human Resources, or related field.
  • MBA/MHA/PGDHM or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in healthcare operations, HR, or administration (hospital/clinic/healthcare setup).

Preferred Certifications (if any):

  • NABH Internal Auditor Training
  • Certification in Healthcare Quality
  • HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI, etc.)

Reporting & Collaboration:

  • Reports directly to the CEO or Medical Director.
  • Works closely with department heads, clinicians, finance, IT, and external partners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
