The Manager, HRIS provides strategic leadership and hands-on management of Bel’s Human Resources Information System, with a primary focus on Oracle HCM Cloud. This role is responsible for project management of the global Oracle implementation, ensuring successful deployment, integration, and optimization of HR technology solutions. The Manager, HRIS drives system enhancements, ensures data integrity and compliance across all business units, and delivers process improvements that support Bel’s business objectives. The role requires deep expertise in Oracle HRIS, extensive experience in end-to-end implementations, and strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and influence HR technology strategy.
Are You Looking to:
- Lead and coordinate all phases of the Oracle HCM Cloud implementation within the approved project scope, timeline, and budget, including planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Translate Bel’s HR strategy and business objectives into system requirements and capabilities.
- Develop and maintain the HRIS roadmap to determine priorities, deadlines, and resource allocation; communicate clear timelines, responsibilities, and costs to key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across HR systems and processes.
- Oversee maintenance, optimization, and security of Oracle HCM Cloud, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and oversee the integration of HR systems with other enterprise systems, ensuring smooth data flow and connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product configuration issues, providing expert guidance to optimize HR system functionality.
- Develop system processes and procedures to ensure data accuracy and proper security controls.
- Ensure system compliance with industry standards and global privacy, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Continuously assess and optimize HR systems, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency, user experience, and data integrity.
- Deliver analytics, dashboards, and insights to HR and business leaders using Oracle reporting tools.
- Analyze HRIS data trends and provide strategic recommendations.
Are You Ready to:
- Build strong partnerships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders globally– including HR, IT, Finance, business leaders, and external vendors – to gather system requirements, assess HR processes, and identify opportunities to leverage the HRIS to streamline, optimize or automate workflows.
- Liaise with Oracle and other vendors; support contract negotiations and relationship management.
- Provide ongoing support for the HRIS system including troubleshooting, optimizing processes, and implementing new capabilities.
- Design global and local training programs for HR and end users.
- Gather feedback from global users for system enhancements.
- Occasional travel up to 25% as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Authorities and Responsibilities:
- Leadership: This role leads cross-functional project teams and provides mentorship to stakeholders across global business units.
- Project Management: Coordinate all aspects of Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects, including managing resources, timelines, and deliverables. Manage and execute special projects, including new entity integrations, system upgrades, and process transformation initiatives.
- Decision-Making: Make recommendations regarding HRIS configuration, process improvements, and system enhancements in alignment with business objectives and HR strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with HR, which includes Payroll, along with IT, Finance, and other departments to ensure HRIS solutions meet organizational needs.
- Budget Recommendations: Recommend budget allocations and resource needs for HRIS projects and ongoing system support.
- Confidentiality & Security: Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and data security, applying best practices and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or Oracle HRIS certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing HRIS systems, with at least 3 years’ hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with ADP helpful.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale, global HRIS implementations with a strong project management focus.
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle HRIS reporting and analytics.
- Strong project management skills and demonstrated experience driving continuous process improvement, leveraging technology to optimize operations, and change management.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- In-depth knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and priorities in a fast-paced, global environment, maintaining a proactive and hands-on approach.
- Enthusiasm for teaching, sharing knowledge, and supporting colleagues.
- A “roll up your sleeves” attitude and willingness to do the day-to-day work.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
