Summary:
The Manager, HR Operations will be responsible for driving the efficiency, scalability, and excellence of our HR operations function. As part of a global HR Operations team, lead key HR operational processes including benefits administration, leave management, onboarding, and HR data management, with a strong focus on automation, analytics, and process improvement. You will lead and develop a high-performing HR operations team, ensuring best-in-class employee experience and operational excellence as we scale.

HR Operations Management

Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including benefits administration, leave and accommodation management, onboarding, and employee data management.

Ensure policies and processes comply with US federal, state, and local regulations as well as global company policies.

Partner with global HR, payroll, and other cross functional teams to ensure seamless HR processes.
Communication & Employee Support

Clearly communicate HR policies, programs, and processes to employees at all levels, ensuring understanding and accessibility.

Develop and deliver employee-facing resources, trainings, and FAQs to support HR initiatives and promote transparency.

Serve as an escalation point for complex employee inquiries, providing expert guidance and support.
Process Improvement & Automation

Identify, design, and implement scalable HR processes.

Leverage Workday and other technologies to drive automation and efficiency.

Initiate HR operations projects and solutions focused on process optimization.
Data Management & Analytics

Ensure the integrity, security, and accuracy of employee data.

Develop and manage HR metrics, dashboards, and analytics to inform decision-making.

Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on HR trends and opportunities.
Minimum qualifications:
A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required. 2 years management experience is required.
Additional qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in benefits administration, leave management, onboarding, and HR data management.

5+ years of people management is required

Proven success in leading, developing, and scaling HR operations teams.

Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

Expertise in HR systems, particularly Workday; experience with automation and process improvement tools.

Experience driving automation and leveraging technology in HR operations.

Excellent communication and project management skills.

In-depth knowledge of US employment law and HR compliance.
Salary range:
124,400 - 211,500 USD
Salary range shown is inclusive of target commission for staff in eligible roles. In addition, MathWorks offers benefits and a quarterly bonus program. Individual compensation is determined by a candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
