How your work would contribute to our organization and the Twin Cities region:
The Manager of Human Resources - Talent Management will provide work direction, coaching, and supervision to their Talent Management team. The incumbent in this position will oversee the full recruitment lifecycle of fast paced high-volume recruitments, streamlining HR operations, and ensuring that HR practices align with business objectives, thereby creating a seamless experience for applicants and hiring managers. This position will assist with recommendations and updates to develop and implement short- and long-term strategic goals for the Council recruitment and selection process.
The full salary range is included in the job posting. However, our anticipated hiring range for this position is between $112,570 and $130,000. The starting salary will depend on the selected candidate's experience, skills, and education as well as internal salary equity. Additionally, this position offers a generous benefits package.

What your work environment would be:
You would perform your work in a standard office setting. Work may sometimes require travel between your primary work site and other sites. This position is eligible for a hybrid (onsite three days per week) telework arrangement. Candidate's permanent residence must be in Minnesota or Wisconsin.

If you are new to the Metropolitan Council, you must pass a background check which verifies education, employment, and criminal history. If you have a criminal conviction, you do not automatically fail. The Metropolitan Council considers felony, gross misdemeanor, and misdemeanor convictions on a case-by-case basis, based on whether they are related to the job and whether the candidate has demonstrated adequate rehabilitation.
