Job Specification
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, imports & Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in import/export operations, logistics management, or supply chain coordination.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of customs regulations, freight forwarding, vendor management, and shipment tracking.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in logistics software, MS Excel, ERP systems.
- Other Requirements: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Job Description (JD)
- Ensure all local and imported orders are executed on time, cost-effectively, and in compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and Head of Sales to finalize orders.
- Manage freight forwarders, clearing agents, and logistics vendors.
- Track and report shipments; resolve delivery delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain shipment tracker for management visibility.
- Ensure customs clearance documentation is accurate and on time.
- Implement best practices for continuous improvement in import/export processes.
KPIs
- On-time Delivery Rate: Percentage of orders delivered as per schedule.
- Cost Efficiency: Achieving optimal shipping and logistics costs.
- Customs Compliance: Zero penalties or delays due to documentation errors.
- Vendor Performance: Timely and quality service from freight forwarders and clearing agents.
- Shipment Accuracy: Reduction in lost, damaged, or delayed shipments.
- Process Improvement: Number of implemented improvements enhancing efficiency.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from internal teams and suppliers.
