Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Logistics Services Manager.

Job Location: Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology.

Position Summary: The Logistics Services Manager position is responsible for leading and managing logistics operations, including supply chain services, material handling, critical parts availability, and product shipments from origin to delivery. The position collaborates with Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, vendors, and Product Development teams to improve systems and procedures. It oversees logistics plans, budgets, and processes to meet customer requirements within budget constraints, may require expertise in international shipping and banking documents (such as Letters of Credit), and is responsible for selecting, developing, and evaluating staff.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee Logistics Services activities to support organizational growth, optimize product flow, and minimize company risk within Regional Gateway Operations.
  • Serve as the regional liaison for Customer Experience, Planning, Purchasing, and other Regional Logistics Services teams regarding inbound/outbound shipments, upgrade requests, quotes, track and trace, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor on-time delivery performance in relation to customer and carrier performance; determine, implement, and communicate routing adjustments to maintain service levels.
  • Participate in meetings and execute policies and annual plans to drive logistics systems excellence, resolve critical issues, expand transportation routes, update the Americas Routing Guidelines, and support logistics headcount planning.
  • Provide guidance and research on applicable import/export laws, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Support customs brokerage activities by supplying required documentation and information (HTS classification, FDA, TSCA, AD/CVD, Steel License, derivatives/composition forms) and coordinating among carriers, brokers, Purchasing, and Engineering.

What will you bring along:

  • Bachelors degree in related discipline
  • 1 year+ Inventory Control experience
  • Strong basic math skills, time management skills, attention to detail, and the understanding of inventory.
  • Knowledge of Logistics Processes – P11, W41, Waves, TMS System, GTS processes; freight billing audit
