Job Opening – Manager (Maintenance)

Budget: CTC 7 to 10 LPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering
• Additional certifications in safety or maintenance management preferred

Experience

• 10–15 years of relevant maintenance experience
• Minimum 5–8 years in a managerial or supervisory role

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Operations

• Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Ensure minimum breakdowns and quick restoration of equipment
• Monitor daily maintenance activities and prioritize critical issues
• Maintain equipment efficiency, reliability, and lifespan

Team Management

• Lead, supervise, and train maintenance technicians and engineers
• Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure skill development
• Ensure discipline, safety awareness, and proper documentation

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments
• Enforce use of PPE and safe work practices

Planning & Budgeting

• Prepare and control maintenance budgets and expenses
• Manage spare parts inventory and vendor coordination
• Reduce maintenance cost through optimization and improvement projects

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain maintenance logs, SOPs, manuals, and records
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports
• Analyze breakdown data and implement corrective actions

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Coordinate with external vendors, AMC providers, and contractors
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure quality service delivery

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utilities maintenance
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Leadership and team-handling ability
• Planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
