GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

The Manager of Brand & Creative Marketing is responsible for shaping, protecting, and advancing VIA’s brand identity across all touchpoints. This position ensures the VIA brand is consistent in ways that are authentic, engaging, and relevant to our customers, internal team members, and communities. The Manager of Brand & Creative Marketing provides leadership in the development of creative strategies and storytelling—both visual and written—that bring VIA’s products, services, and values to life.

This position leads a team of marketing professionals to deliver bold, breakthrough creative that builds brand equity, drives awareness, and strengthens customer and community relationships. By overseeing the execution of VIA’s brand architecture and creative direction, the Manager Brand & Creative Marketing ensures all campaigns, programs, and communications align with VIA’s mission while standing out in both organic and paid marketing channels. The position is key to building meaningful brand experiences that enhance reputation, inspire community trust, and support VIA’s long-term growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Lead the execution of VIA’s brand strategy, driving brand awareness, positioning, and equity across all customer and community touchpoints.

Manage VIA’s brand architecture and identity, ensuring consistency, cohesion, and integrity across print, social media, website, and customer-facing materials.

Manage creative strategies and clear, compelling creative briefs to guide large-scale integrated campaigns and initiatives.

Use audience segments and insights to inform creative direction and ensure VIA’s storytelling resonates with diverse segments, including new riders, existing riders, and community stakeholders.

Oversee VIA’s website strategy, design, and content, ensuring a user-friendly, accessible, and on-brand digital experience.

Direct the development and execution of VIA’s social media strategy to build brand awareness, strengthen customer engagement, and support service promotions.

Oversee and mentor the Brand team and Creative Design team to foster creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.

Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Public Engagement, and Customer Experience teams to ensure integrated campaigns and seamless customer experiences.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for brand creative initiatives to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality delivery.

Track and report on brand performance, creative outcomes, and campaign effectiveness; present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Maintain a digital library of all finalized brand and creative assets to ensure we have the most current brand guidelines, logos, and historical records for enterprise-wide access.

Stay current on marketing, branding, and creative industry trends to bring fresh, innovative ideas that keep VIA’s brand relevant and distinctive.

Collaborate with the Manager of Brand & Creative and Manager of Consumer Analytics to create opportunities for comprehensive plans.

This job description excludes marginal functions that are incidental to performing the job. Other duties may exist.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field and ten (10) years of experience in marketing, advertising, or content development and two (2) years of supervisory experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of education on a year-for-year basis up to four years.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Written and oral proficiency in Spanish

Knowledge of graphic design and creative software programs

Ability to work on cross-functional teams with a high-level of positive influence.

Understands the importance of the roles of emerging technologies in the field of marketing and promotions.

Demonstrates familiarity with innovative and current marketing theory and research, as well as older, established models to help guide the agency’s marketing and promotions efforts.

Creative and out-of-the box thinking with the ability to stretch marketing dollars for a meaningful return on investment

Must be able to maintain good work attendance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical ability required to be mobile, bend, stoop, stand, reach and lift objects weighing 5-25 pounds such as files, supplies, equipment and large heavy reference manuals and books.

WORK ENVIRONMENTS:

Works in normal office environment.

Work may require irregular hours.
