Summary of Position

The Manager of Digital Content and Facility Marketing leads creative production, and technical implementation of all digital marketing initiatives across USTA Florida's & USTA Florida Foundation’s brands, properties, and managed or operated facilities. This role serves as both a hands-on executor and a resource for training and guiding staff & volunteers locally or remotely on digital best practices, brand standards, and content creation.

Essential Functions

The following duties are representative of the position and are not intended to be all-inclusive. Responsibilities may be added, changed, or reassigned as needed to support organizational goals.

FACILITY DIGITAL MARKETING LEAD (Local Focus)

· Work with the Director of Marketing and facility teams to develop/execute digital marketing strategies for USTA managed facilities that reflect the unique culture and needs of those facilities and communities.

· Develop and execute a content collection plan for each managed facility and work collaboratively with local staff to source content regularly on-site for all uses.

· Make daily and weekly updates to facility web sites to keep information current and fresh – with a clear goal of maximizing user experience and driving business.

· Work with local facility leaders and marketing team to develop and execute social media posting and communications plans that align with facility business goals. Work collaboratively with local staff – providing training and seeking input/learning at all times.

· Report to director and senior leadership on facility marketing metrics, including but not limited to SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and paid media campaign success and outcomes.

DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGEMENT (State-Wide)

· Manage and maintain all USTA Florida websites and mobile app platforms, according to the strategy and business needs set forth by the Director and USTA Florida senior leadership.

· Develop and execute a plan for content creation and production that aligns with organization needs and goals – serving as both the creator for visual assets and guiding vendors when the need arises.

· Source and create compelling content for all channels, applying best practices in visual design, ensuring accurate and timely information and optimizing user experience.

· Manage social media presence and content strategy for all USTA Florida and USTA Florida Foundation accounts – engaging with followers and replying to inquiries in a timely fashion.

· Work with the Director to develop marketing metrics/KPIs and monitor, track, and report on how those outcomes tie back to business objectives.

COLLABORATION

· Train, guide, and support other department staff, local staff, regional staff, and remote teams on digital platforms, brand guidelines, content standards, and marketing best practices in a way that empowers them to contribute.

· Collaborate with the Director on paid media planning, budget management, and strategic marketing initiatives.

· Support various projects teams as assigned by the Director.

None. This role works collaboratively with all departments as part of the support services function.

Travel Demands

Regular travel is required for this role and varies throughout the year, based on need.

  • Travel to events across the state of Florida for content capture, marketing support, and on-site coverage; some events may require extended travel depending on scope and duration
  • Travel to USTA Florida operated facilities for marketing support, content gathering, and staff training
  • Travel to external facilities throughout Florida to gather content and provide marketing support
  • Travel for regional events, team meetings, and organizational functions
  • Attendance at USTA & USTA Florida meetings

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing and/or content creation
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining a brand's digital presence across multiple platforms
  • Experience in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data to guide decision making
  • Demonstrated proficiency with WordPress and Google Analytics
  • Required proficiency with: Social media management tools (Hootsuite), Canva, Lightroom, Google Analytics, Data Studio
  • Preferred proficiency with: Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, Power BI
  • Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B testing and performance optimization
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Preferred knowledge of Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Photography and video production/editing experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, including OneDrive document sharing component and Teams
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver license and a record that meets our company's insurance standards
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must have a professional and positive attitude
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as needed
  • Must be able to pass the USTA Safe Play and USTA FL Section background checks

  • Medium - 20 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds periodically (camera equipment, signage, promotional materials)
