Job Summary and Qualifications

You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/ department. You will monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/ procedures and hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• If no Bachelor’s Degree at time of hire, required enrollment and completion within 3 (three) years of hire/transfer required
• 2.5 years applicable experience required
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) - 9 month grace period; New hire/ transfer must obtain within specified time frame. Required to work under credentialed RN until training certification obtained
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) Certification within 18 months of hire/ transfer
