The Hydaker-Wheatlake Company is currently seeking a Manager of Foundation Operations to join our growing team!
Essential Job Functions:

Lead, direct, and supervise foundation construction activities across multiple utility projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and timelines.

Leads market and business development efforts for Foundation operations, identifying growth opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and driving initiatives that expand funding sources and community engagement.

Develop work schedules, assign resources, and monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other departments to coordinate operations and resolve project challenges.

Train, coach, and mentor field crews and supervisors, promoting professional growth and ensuring adherence to company standards.

Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, negotiating and coordinating to achieve cost efficiency and quality outcomes.

Ensure all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

Perform Quality Assurance inspections of field operations and Quality Control means, methods and reporting.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for productivity, equipment usage, safety, and quality, and implement corrective measures as needed.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress, labor, equipment, and material usage.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to strategic planning for the foundations division.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

10+ years of experience in operations management, construction supervision, or a related leadership role within the utility, foundations, or heavy civil construction industry.

Strong knowledge of foundation construction methods, utility industry standards, and safety regulations.

Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software, and MS Office Suite.

Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing budgets, and driving operational efficiency.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly to job sites.
