Position Summary
Working within the Customer Service division, the Manager of IT & Digital Innovation will lead Hope Center Ministries’ technology strategy by championing the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to improve ministry operations, enhance donor engagement, and support our mission to restore lives through Christ-centered recovery. In addition, this position will develop and oversee data and analytics systems that provide actionable insights to strengthen our customer service and admissions processes.
Key Responsibilities
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to ensure the ministry’s website ranks at the top of search results for key ministry, donor, and program-related terms.
- Conduct ongoing keyword research, on-page optimization, and content strategy alignment with marketing and communications teams.
- Monitor SEO performance using analytics tools, reporting on trends, rankings, and ROI.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovation
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI for improving operational efficiency, donor relations, program delivery, and staff productivity.
- Implement AI-driven tools for data analysis, workflow automation, and enhanced user experiences across digital platforms.
- Train staff on AI best practices, ensuring ethical and mission-aligned use of emerging technologies.
Technology Leadership
- Oversee all IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions.
- Streamline enterprise systems to improve the experience of HCM employees, vendors, and donors.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to track and retain the organization’s technology assets.
- Make recommendations to executive leadership to ensure that technology initiatives align with ministry goals the organization’s technology remains relevant and prepares HCM for future success.
- Maintain data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with Communications, Development, and Program teams to ensure digital initiatives amplify our mission impact.
- Present technology updates, project progress, and innovation opportunities to senior leadership and the Board when needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in SEO strategy with measurable success in top search engine rankings.
- Demonstrated success in implementing AI tools and technologies in an organizational setting.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex technology concepts in simple, actionable terms.
- Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Hope Center Ministries.
Preferred:
- Experience in a nonprofit or faith-based environment.
- Knowledge of current trends in digital marketing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
