About Us

We are a leading multi-specialty practice specializing in orthopedics, pain management, and spine surgery.

We are dedicated to delivering world-class musculoskeletal care through innovation, compassion, and expertise. We’re now seeking a hands-on marketing leader who can both strategize and execute — building campaigns, managing content, running digital ads, and driving measurable growth across multiple locations and service lines. This is not a remote position.

Position Summary

The Head of Marketing and Communications will lead and execute all marketing initiatives — from developing the annual marketing plan to producing day-to-day campaigns that generate patient leads and elevate the brand.

This role requires someone who can balance strategic vision with tactical execution — writing content, managing digital campaigns, analyzing performance data, and creating materials that bring the organization’s story to life. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to make marketing happen.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Tactical Marketing Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for each brand
  • Create and manage patient acquisition campaigns across digital, print, and referral channels.
  • Write copy and develop creative concepts for ads, social media, landing pages, and email campaigns.
  • Conduct competitive research and market analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage and optimize Google Ads, Meta campaigns, and other paid media platforms directly.

Digital Marketing & Content Development

  • Oversee and personally manage SEO, SEM, and website content updates
  • Write and publish blog posts, newsletters, and patient education articles to boost search visibility.
  • Create social media content calendars and design posts, graphics, and reels
  • Monitor engagement daily across social platforms; respond to comments, questions, and reviews.
  • Analyze digital metrics and provide actionable insights to improve campaign performance.

Branding & Communications

  • Maintain consistent brand voice and design across all materials and digital platforms.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, provider announcements, and community updates.
  • Develop promotional campaigns for new providers, office openings, and service launches.
  • Create printed and digital collateral, including brochures, flyers, signage, and branded items.

Email & Patient Engagement

  • Build and deploy patient email campaigns and quarterly newsletters using marketing automation tools.
  • Develop lead-nurturing sequences to re-engage non-converted patients and boost retention.
  • Partner with internal operations to improve patient communication and appointment scheduling tools.

Vendor & Project Management

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with marketing vendors, web developers, and digital ad partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure accountability for deliverables.
  • Lead marketing aspects of new practice acquisitions and integrations — from branding to launch.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track key performance indicators, including lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Produce regular marketing performance reports and share insights with leadership.
  • Continuously refine campaigns and strategies based on data and feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of marketing experience with a focus on hands-on campaign execution.
  • Proven ability to write, design, and execute marketing campaigns end-to-end.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, WordPress, and email platforms.
  • Strong creative and analytical skills; ability to turn ideas into measurable results.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, medical practice, or professional services marketing preferred.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and visual storytelling abilities.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare advertising compliance standards.

Key Competencies

  • Action-Oriented: Thrives on doing — not just directing.
  • Creative Storyteller: Can craft compelling narratives across multiple media.
  • Data-Driven: Uses metrics and analytics to refine decisions.
  • Collaborative: Works well with clinicians, staff, and leadership teams.
  • Adaptable: Able to pivot between strategy and execution quickly.

Why Join Us

  • Opportunity to shape and grow the marketing engine for a respected, expanding healthcare organization.
  • Direct impact on patient acquisition, brand reputation, and community engagement.
  • Competitive salary and benefit.
  • A role where your ideas and your work directly drive results.
