Manager on Duty

We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Manager on Duty. As a Manager on Duty, you will be the leader in charge during your shift, responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the success of our store and the satisfaction of our customers. We are hiring an MOD for the Kapolei and Kahului stores.

Experience

Manager on Duty, Clerk V -

• Minimum of two years retail experience.
• Minimum of one year experience in purchasing, merchandising and selling.
• Minimum of one year leadership or supervisory experience.
• Formal education in natural health, nutrition and/or healing preferred.

Skills

• Each product has its own story, benefits and uses. Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.
• Ability to solve a variety of situations in a productive, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow Team Members and customers.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions, particularly whilst utilizing Microsoft programs.

Starting Pay

• Competitive Pay: - $27.00 to $33.35 per hour
• Starting at $27.00/hr, with growth opportunities up to $33.35/hr

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of the store.
• Manage inventory levels, including purchasing and stocking of products.
• Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment.
• Handle customer service inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and cash register transactions.
• Implement merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and sales.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly regarding nutrition.
