Manager On Duty / MOD

Manager on Duty is responsible for the overall smooth functioning of the hospital till he/she is on special duty.

Manager on Duty should take the ownership of any problem arising during his/ser duty and try to give effective solutions confidently.

Manager on Duty should take round of the hospital on arrival for the duty, during regular intervals and before leaving the work place. This round should include the round of all floors and all service areas.

Manager on Duty should interact with the attendants of the patients and help them by providing the needful information through purposeful dialogue and interaction.

Manager on Duty should interact with the nursing stations, reception and security supervisor time to time to appraise himself about the state of affairs with different departments positively.

Manager on Duty should take round of Emergency and meet all the patients and their relatives. He / She should liaise with the PRE (ER) for all bed requisition from ER and try to shift the patients at the earliest.

Take the round of OT especially in the early morning 5-6am and supervise the preparation of all the planned surgeries for the morning. See the cleaning of OT and Change rooms. Ensure sufficient Linen are available in OT for Change.

Motivate Housekeeping staff for thorough cleaning of all vacated rooms and beds, also cleaning of all patient care area.

In the event of death of any patient, Manager on Duty should ensure to liaise with the billing person to settle the final payments of the family of diseased.

LAMA counselling, MLC documentations and compliance.

Act as an escalation point for ER/ICU/critical patient operations and financial counselling coordination.

Ensure emergency preparedness in terms of staff, Ambulance, and coordination.

Ensue to monitor MLC cases information pass through security supervisor.

Ensure to inform any Brought death and SHO cases to local police station and on confirmation we initiate further process.

All RTA & Cardiac cases will be admitted after detail consent is explained and taken from patient attendant.
