REPORTS TO: General Manager
Primary Purpose: Be an innovative Esthetician who consistently uses their creative and technical skill to create a personally rejuvenating experience for each other and our guests. Develop and strengthen relationships with clients and team members. Actively engage in instilling a culture of personalized, high-quality, results-driven skin care and technical expertise. Support Spalon Montage’s reputation as a dominant leader in the salon/spa industry.
Personal Characteristics: A passion for serving people. Possess assertiveness, self-confidence and creativity in expressing technical ability. Believe in the experience and consistently exceed customer’s expectations. Desire to continuously look for ways to self-improve. Possess ability to develop and maintain long term professional relationship with clients and team members.
Required Skills: Esthetician license required.
General Duties:
- Catalyst for driving the mission statement culture
- Actively demonstrate ability and desire to establish & increase a book of business
- Educate clients on how they can extend their services through home care maintenance.
- Ability and desire to retail home-care products
- Adhere to dress code
- Actively participate in and promote teamwork, support Spalon Montage policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all sanitation and licensing guidelines, and be an active partner in insuring a clean and professional appearance of work area and salon.
- Being responsible for personal well-being.
- Participate in continued education classes and remain current on all techniques
- Maintains the treatment rooms in a neat professional manner including stocking products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization. Replaces linens on tables so that the room ready for the next client.
- Participate in spa activities including staff meetings, promotions, clean –up and housekeeping duties.
- Contributes to self-marketing strategies.
- Arrives at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled work shift and may require to stay later beyond work schedule if still with clients.
- Celebrate the team’s success as well as your own.
