Role Overview:
FMS Dental Hospitals is looking for a highly organized and clinically knowledgeable Manager – Operations to manage and streamline end-to-end dental hospital operations. The role requires a unique blend of clinical understanding (BDS) and managerial expertise, ensuring world-class patient care, operational efficiency, and adherence to FMS’s evidence-based protocols.
Key Responsibilities:Clinical & Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of the dental hospital ensuring smooth clinical workflows
- Coordinate with senior dentists, specialists, and clinical teams across departments
- Ensure strict adherence to FMS clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards
- Monitor OPD flow, chair utilization, treatment planning timelines, and patient conversions
Patient Experience & Quality
- Ensure a premium patient experience across consultation, treatment, billing, and follow-ups
- Handle patient escalations, feedback, and service recovery professionally
- Maintain high standards of ethics, transparency, and informed consent
People & Team Management
- Manage front office, clinical coordinators, assistants, and non-clinical staff
- Prepare duty rosters, leave management, and productivity tracking
- Coordinate training programs in alignment with FMS academic and research culture
Digital & Process Excellence
- Work with HMS, digital records, CBCT workflows, and treatment tracking systems
- Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and data-driven decision-making
- Support implementation of new technologies and workflow optimizations
Inventory, Assets & Compliance
- Oversee procurement, inventory control, and vendor management
- Ensure maintenance of dental equipment and digital infrastructure
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, biomedical waste management, and NABH/JCI standards (where applicable)
Business & Growth Support
- Support management in budgeting, cost control, and operational KPIs
- Coordinate with marketing teams for campaigns, patient education programs, and outreach initiatives
- Drive operational efficiency across multiple FMS centers
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, clinical workflows, and patient counseling
- Proven leadership and team-handling abilities
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with multi-location dental or hospital setups preferred
- Data-oriented mindset with focus on quality, efficiency, and growth
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
