SUMMARY:
This role creates value and maximizes effectiveness across the Commercial organization, most notably the Sales team, by delivering operational and analytical excellence. The Manager, Sales Operations & Analytics partners closely with the Vice President, Commercial Insights and Sales Operations and collaborates with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Training, and BI/Analytics to drive data-informed decisions, operational discipline, and clear visibility to performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS:
SALES OPERATIONS

Support the company’s incentive compensation (IC) program, including presentation content for rollouts, plan documentation, and auditing of earnings calculations.

Assistwith quarterly call plan processes byestablishingtimelines, coordinating selection criteria with stakeholders, and preparing communications (requiredactions, due dates, system update timing).

Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Training to develop educational materials that increase understanding and adoption of sales systems and data.

Providetimelynotifications for organizational updates that require roster anddistributionlist changes.

Coordinate acquisition of required documentation to support field credentialing/licensing.

Contribute content and insights for field communications related to performance metrics and other operational initiatives.
SALES ANALYTICS

Analyze available datasets toidentifyperformance drivers, customer dynamics, and market opportunities.

Evaluate promotional effectiveness, targeting accuracy, and field resourceutilizationto guide strategy and execution.

Frame analytical approaches that answer key business questions and inform forward-looking strategies.

Translate complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations for Commercial leadership and senior management.

Ensure analytical work is aligned to commercial priorities and drives data-informed action.
SALES REPORTING

Develop,maintain, and distribute standardized sales reporting tools for field users and Commercial leadership.

Partner with BI/Analytics to automate recurring reports and streamline delivery via Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Marketing to define reporting requirements, refine KPIs, and evolve the reporting suite as business needs change.

Provide ad hoc reporting support for business planning meetings, field meetings, and brand planning presentations.

Lead detailed data investigations to resolve discrepancies or anomalies across sales reports, dashboards, CRM activity, IC inputs, and underlying datasets.

Communicate promptly about BI platform issues (e.g., refresh delays, data integrity concerns) and provide follow-up once resolved.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).

Advanced Excel proficiency/mastery (formulas, Power Query/Pivot, visualizations).

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields

Pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry experience isrequired.

5+ years in the pharmaceutical industry in roles such as Sales Operations, Sales Analytics, Data Governance, Marketing Analytics, or related functions.

Familiarity with incentive compensation program development and administration.

Relevant data and experience

Required: Prescription data (e.g., syndicated via IQVIA, Symphony) and/or Co-Pay/Pharmacy data.

Preferred: Healthcare claims data (syndicated or otherwise); wholesaler/factory sales exposure.
