Manager / Senior Manager Maintenance

• Overall responsibility of maintenance activities in all the shifts to the required ‘Quality Standards’
• Review the ‘Current’ break down status and physically meet the teams attending the break downs & take appropriate actions accordingly
• Go for the Plant Round to physically meet the Production Shift In charge & concerned Production Managers for further clarity on priorities for production related breakdown urgencies
• Check & validate, the individual breakdown Completion reports submitted by shift Engineers
• Review the Tools /jigs / fixtures under Major Repair, overhauling, refurbishments etc and take appropriate actions accordingly
• Review the proceedings of the daily ‘Tool Box Meetings’ with all concerned & intervene to provide support where ever required
• Maintenance outputs of all work centres against the targeted KPIs
• Review the ‘Stock of Spares’
• Status of ‘Utility services’ validity of servicing
• Routine checks are being done as per the norms
• Ensure that the schedules of ‘Condition based Maintenance’ as per SAP are upgraded regularly & the observations are attended accordingly
• Ensure that the execution of ‘Preventive Maintenance’ (PM) as per the pre defined & approved PM schedule is being followed
• Advise the Production Engineers to ensure that ‘Autonomous Maintenance’ is being followed at all work stations
• Oversee all the ‘Role Accountabilities’ of all Maintenance Engineers
• Prepare a consolidated Work completion Report on daily basis & report to the / HOD
• Ensure Participation & play a lead Role in team efforts for 5S & EHS initiatives
• Ensure that immediate reporting of any kind of ‘Near Miss’ / ‘First Aid’ cases / ‘Safety Incidents’ to the Safety officer & concerned Superiors is done.
