About Jumeirah Muscat Bay

Set in the secluded cove of Bandar Jissah, nestled between the Al Hajar Mountains and the Gulf of Oman, Jumeirah Muscat Bay invites guests to discover Muscat’s breathtaking nature, with mountains meeting the sea at the resort’s doorstep. The resort features 195 rooms and suites with spectacular ocean views, including ten opulent summerhouses and villas featuring private plunge pools and private beach access.

About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Supervisor - Spa to join our Team in Jumeirah Muscat Bay. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Support the Spa Manager in overseeing daily Spa and Fitness operations, ensuring all guest areas, facilities, inventories, and back-of-house spaces meet Jumeirah and LQA standards, including daily operational checks and compliance documentation.

• Supervise Spa GSE, Spa Attendants, and Fitness teams by monitoring performance, conducting monthly KPI-based reviews, providing coaching and feedback, and managing discipline and guidance where required.

• Coordinate and deliver training for Spa and Fitness teams on products, services, and standards, working closely with vendors and designers to enhance product knowledge, service quality, and sales performance.

• Assist with payroll accuracy, prepare weekly schedules, and monitor daily attendance and absences, ensuring all processes comply with timelines and Jumeirah policies.

• Personally handle guest feedback and complaints to ensure timely resolution, while tracking quality scores (Medallia, LQA, TripAdvisor), developing action plans, and working with Spa leadership to identify service gaps and implement continuous improvements.

About you

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Demonstrated strengths in problem-solving, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Strong leadership, team management, and project management skills with the ability to guide teams effectively.

• Three to five years of experience within luxury hospitality or luxury customer service environments.

• High School Diploma is essential; a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or a related field is desirable.
