About the Role

The Manager, Supply Chain Management is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of strategic and operational support across the organization’s third-party logistics (3PL) network. This role ensures that 3PL partners are aligned with company objectives, operational excellence standards, and long-term growth strategies in distribution, fulfillment, and inventory management.


Key Responsibilities

  • 3PL Operations Leadership
  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of strategic and operational support services within a third-party logistics (3PL) network to ensure efficient, scalable, and cost-effective operations.
  • Alignment with Business Goals
  • Drive alignment between 3PL partners and organizational objectives to achieve service excellence, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement across logistics functions.
  • Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance logistics performance, including warehouse operations, transportation, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Capacity & Resource Planning
  • Manage capacity and resource planning across multiple 3PL locations, ensuring warehousing, transportation, and labor resources are optimized to meet short-term demand and long-range planning goals.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Establish standardized reporting and performance measurement processes. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate efficiency, identify improvement opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, IT, and Finance to ensure 3PL operations are aligned with broader business strategies and financial targets.
  • Vendor Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers, fostering accountability, service innovation, and performance improvement through regular reviews and partnership development.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–7 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management, including experience managing 3PL providers.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation management, and freight optimization.
  • Proficiency with ERP and logistics systems (e.g., SAP, BC, Oracle, Manhattan, or equivalent).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced, global environment.

Physical Demands
