Junior Manager – Vendor Management & Client Management
Job Summary
The Junior Manager – Vendor and Client Management will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers and clients to ensure smooth procurement, timely deliveries, quality compliance, and effective client communication. The role acts as a key link between the factory, vendors, and customers to support uninterrupted manufacturing and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Management
- Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with approved vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement of raw materials, components, and spare parts.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials as per production schedules.
- Monitor vendor performance related to quality, delivery timelines, and pricing.
- Coordinate with quality and production teams for material inspection, rejection, and corrective actions.
- Assist in vendor negotiations related to rates, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain vendor records, agreements, and compliance documentation.
Client Management
- Act as a point of contact for clients regarding orders, delivery schedules, and product specifications.
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and logistics teams to ensure timely execution of client orders.
- Communicate order status, dispatch details, and timelines to clients.
- Handle client queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Support after-sales coordination for service, spare parts, and warranty-related matters.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, dealers, and institutional customers.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal departments including production, stores, quality, and accounts.
- Prepare and maintain reports on vendor performance, order status, and client communication.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and standard operating procedures.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and documentation tools
- Problem-solving ability and customer-oriented mindset
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in vendor coordination, client handling, or manufacturing operations (preferred in agricultural or heavy machinery sector)
