Managing Dentist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Dentist to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties

  • Provide comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry procedures.
  • Lead and supervise the dental team, including associate dentists, hygienists, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to all infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe clinical setting.
  • Conduct patient assessments using dental terminology and medical terminology to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Perform advanced procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, endodontics, and dental fabrication when necessary.
  • Manage medical documentation accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain detailed medical records for each patient.
  • Utilize Dentrix dental software system for scheduling, charting, billing, and record-keeping to streamline operations.
  • Oversee infection control practices and ensure all staff follow proper sterilization procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care by educating patients on oral health practices and treatment options.
  • Monitor practice performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement in patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license with current DEA registration if applicable.
  • At least three (3) years of proven experience in general dentistry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex procedures clearly to patients of all ages.

Pay: $133,120.00 - $141,440.00 per year
