Job Summary:
The Managing Director (MD) is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, operational performance, and profitability of the precast concrete factory. The role oversees production, commercial activities, financial performance, quality control, supply chain, and business development while ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan aligned with corporate objectives.

Identify growth opportunities in infrastructure, residential, commercial, and mega projects (e.g., NEOM, Red Sea, etc.).

Drive market expansion and strengthen the company’s competitive position.
Operations Management

Oversee end-to-end factory operations (production, planning, maintenance, logistics).

Ensure optimal plant utilization and production efficiency.

Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Monitor KPIs: productivity, cost per m³, wastage, downtime, delivery timelines.
Financial Management

Full P&L responsibility.

Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Control operational costs and improve margins.

Ensure strong cash flow management and receivables control.
Sales & Business Development

Lead commercial strategy and pricing structure.

Build relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, and government entities.

Approve major tenders and negotiate key contracts.

Monitor sales targets and project pipeline.
Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code and SASO standards.

Maintain ISO certifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).

Oversee QA/QC processes and product certification.
People Leadership

Lead and mentor senior management team (Operations Manager, Sales Manager, Finance Manager, QA/QC Manager).

Develop succession plans and talent strategy.

Promote a high-performance and safety-driven culture.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Ensure compliance with Saudi labor law and HSE regulations.

Promote zero-incident workplace culture.

Ensure environmental compliance and sustainability practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering
MBA (preferred)
15+ years of experience in precast / concrete / construction materials
Minimum 5–7 years in senior leadership role
Strong knowledge of GCC construction market
