Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team. This pivotal role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our new clinic, providing exceptional patient service, and supporting the clinical staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical administration, with knowledge of surgery, especially vascular surgery and vein care.
Responsibilities for the Administrative Medical Assistant - 1 year experience
- Manage patient appointments and maintain accurate scheduling for outpatient services.
- Assist with the intake process, including collecting patient information and vital signs.
- Provide administrative support to medical staff in a clinic / procedure driven office
- Facilitate communication between patients and providers regarding treatment plans and medication administration.
- Ensure all medical records are up-to-date and comply with privacy regulations.
- Prepare and organize documents for patient visits, including consent forms and insurance information.
- Assist in emergency situations by applying basic life support techniques as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the office and treatment areas.
Skills for the Administrative Medical Assistant - 1 year experience
- Ability to speak, read and write in Chinese.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to emergency medicine, dermatology, and outpatient care.
- Proficiency in managing patient service interactions with empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to perform vital sign assessments accurately.
- Familiarity with procedure room protocols is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and schedules.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
