Mandarin teacher/Teacher Assistant

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Pod Mandarin Tutors and Teaching Assistants (TAs). The primary focus of this role is to provide Mandarin language instruction to students in a home-based educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher
• Deliver engaging and interactive Mandarin language lessons to students, tailored to their age and proficiency level.
• Utilize effective teaching methods and resources to enhance students' language acquisition.
• Foster a supportive and immersive Mandarin language learning environment.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with other tutors and TAs to ensure a cohesive learning experience for students.

Assist in planning and organizing Mandarin language curriculum and activities.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written.

Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an asset, especially with children or young learners.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.

Flexibility and adaptability to work in a home-based or small group setting.

Cultural awareness and a genuine interest in sharing Mandarin language and culture with students.

Working Conditions:

This position may involve working in a home-based learning environment. The work schedule can vary and may include evenings and weekends to accommodate students' availability.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
