Duties

• Perform a variety of nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
• Provide expert advice on nail health, color choices, and maintenance to enhance client satisfaction
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations
• Offer additional beauty services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or hair extensions when qualified
• Upsell retail products related to nail care and beauty treatments to maximize client experience and sales opportunities
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and deliver personalized service that exceeds expectations
• Stay current on industry trends such as new techniques in dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments to continually elevate service quality

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail care or related specialties
• Proven experience as a manicurist or nail technician with a strong portfolio of nail art and design skills
• Knowledge of color theory to create harmonious and appealing nail designs
• Familiarity with sanitation procedures and safety standards for hygiene compliance
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
• Skills in retail sales techniques including upselling products confidently and effectively
• Ability to perform additional beauty treatments such as hair threading, body waxing, eyelash extensions, or hair styling is a plus
• Strong communication skills coupled with retail math proficiency for accurate transactions
