Manicurist and Pedicurist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Manicurist and Pedicurist to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures and pedicures, while delivering outstanding customer service in a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your expertise in nail artistry, skincare, and esthetic treatments, contributing to clients’ overall well-being and confidence.

Duties

• Perform professional manicure and pedicure services, including shaping, polishing, cuticle care, and massage.
• Apply advanced nail techniques such as gel nails, nail art, and color theory applications.
• Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and esthetic laser treatments as applicable.
• Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization procedures to ensure client safety.
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail care products and treatments.
• Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty enhancements to enhance client satisfaction.
• Assist clients with retail sales of beauty products and accessories.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
• Stay current on industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail care.
• Proven experience in manicure and pedicure services with a strong portfolio of nail art or design work preferred.
• Knowledge of color theory, sanitation standards, and skin/hair care treatments such as dermabrasion or laser therapy is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Strong retail sales skills with the ability to upsell products confidently using retail math principles.
• Competence in additional beauty services like hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, barbering, or esthetic laser treatments is desirable.
• Good communication skills combined with a professional appearance and attitude.

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per day
