Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while delivering outstanding customer service. The Nail Technician will also have the chance to expand their skills in related areas such as esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, and body waxing, contributing to a comprehensive client experience.

Duties

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with attention to detail and sanitation standards.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail and beauty treatments based on color theory and current trends.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
• Provide additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, and body waxing as needed.
• Assist clients with retail sales of nail care products and other beauty merchandise through effective upselling techniques.
• Educate clients on proper nail care maintenance and aftercare tips.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and products to enhance service offerings.
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalized service.

Qualifications

• Valid Cosmetology or Esthetician license required; specialization in Nail Technology preferred.
• Proven experience in nail care services including gel nails, acrylics, and nail art.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards within the beauty industry.
• Familiarity with color theory, esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion, and retail sales is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly attitude to ensure client satisfaction.

Pay: $23.68 - $28.52 per hour
