Manual & Automation Test Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Manual and Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery by designing, executing, and maintaining both manual and automated test cases. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure flawless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual testing (functional, regression, UI, integration, and system testing).
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Collaborate with the development and product teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain and optimize automation frameworks for maximum efficiency.
• Perform test data preparation and environment setup.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and QA reviews.
• Contribute to continuous integration (CI/CD) and continuous testing processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Manual Testing: knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and QA methodologies.
• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in Python, or JavaScript.
• API Testing: Experience using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
