Manual Batch Powder Coating Painter

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manual Batch Powder Coating Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal components using manual techniques and industrial painting equipment. Your expertise will ensure high-quality finishes, adherence to safety standards, and efficient production flow. Duties

• Prepare metal parts and surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and sanding as needed
• Operate manual spray guns and airless paint spraying equipment to apply powder coatings evenly across components
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assist with material handling and surface preparation
• Monitor coating thickness and finish quality using precision measuring instruments and visual inspections
• Maintain a clean work area by organizing materials, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Assist with loading and unloading parts using forklifts or cranes, ensuring proper materials handling procedures are observed
• Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial painting, auto body repair, or construction painting is highly desirable
• Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, welding, and fabrication techniques
• Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes; certification preferred
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments accurately
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during the coating process
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment while adhering to all safety protocols
