Role Overview

We are looking for a Manual Jewellery Designer with a strong foundation in traditional jewellery design and an eye for luxury aesthetics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on sketching, conceptualising bespoke pieces, and translating ideas into technically sound designs ready for production.

You will work closely with the founder, merchandisers, and karigars to bring designs to life—from concept to final execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Create hand-drawn jewellery sketches (rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, bridal and bespoke pieces)
• Develop design concepts aligned with the brand’s luxury positioning
• Prepare detailed manual design sheets including measurements, stone placement, metal details, and finishes
• Work closely with production teams and karigars to ensure feasibility and design accuracy
• Assist in designing custom/bespoke orders for clients
• Support new collection development and seasonal launches
• Make design revisions based on feedback from clients, founder, or production
• Stay updated on fine jewellery trends while maintaining classic sensibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Formal education in jewellery design (JD Institute, IIGJ, SNDT, or equivalent)
• Strong proficiency in manual sketching (this role is not CAD-focused)
• Good understanding of:Diamond shapes, settings, and quality basics,gold construction and fine jewellery techniques,Ability to visualise designs in 3D from sketches
• Strong attention to detail and proportion
• Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams
• Passion for luxury, craftsmanship, and storytelling through jewellery

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of spreadsheets is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
