Manual or CNC Machinist (XYZ Prototrack)

Job Title: Manual Machinist
Location: Stockport
Pay: Up to £18 per hour
Shift: Day Shift Only

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team in Stockport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating manual machinery to produce precision components. Experience with XYZ Prototrak machines is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual milling, turning, and drilling machines.
• Produce high-quality components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Perform quality checks and adjustments as required during production.
• Collaborate with team members and report any issues to the supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Manual Machinist.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with XYZ Prototrak machines is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, day shift only (Monday - Friday).
• Based at our Stockport facility.
