We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Manual Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 2 years of experience in software testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and meticulous attention to detail. This role involves close collaboration with the development team to identify, document, and resolve defects, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Design:

• Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements and design detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Develop and maintain test cases for new and existing features, ensuring they align with functional specifications and user requirements.
• Test Execution:
• Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and report defects using a defect tracking system, ensuring clear and concise communication of issues.
• Defect Management:
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
• Verify resolved issues and perform regression testing to confirm the effectiveness of fixes.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Document test results, generate test summary reports, and provide clear and actionable feedback to the development team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test cases, test results, and testing activities.
• Quality Advocacy:
• Advocate for best practices in quality assurance and contribute to continuous

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, requirements, and timelines.
• Provide timely updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Experience with various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Having understanding and experience of automation tools such as Selenium would be a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and articulate technical issues and test results.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic understanding of automated testing tools and scripting languages.
• Experience with testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to query databases for test validation.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
