Job Description:

Position Overview:
As a Mobile Manual Tester, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously assess mobile applications to ensure they meet quality standards and function flawlessly across various devices and operating systems. You will work closely with developers and other team members to identify, document, and report any issues or bugs found during testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing: Thoroughly examine mobile applications by navigating through different features, screens, and functionalities to identify potential defects.
• Test Case Execution: Execute predefined test cases meticulously to validate the behavior of the mobile application under different scenarios and conditions.
• Bug Reporting: Document defects, inconsistencies, and abnormalities discovered during testing using designated bug tracking tools, providing clear and concise descriptions along with steps to reproduce.
• Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that fixes and enhancements haven't adversely affected existing functionalities.
• Compatibility Testing: Verify that the mobile application works seamlessly across various devices, screen sizes, resolutions, and operating systems.
• Usability Testing: Evaluate the user interface and user experience to ensure they meet usability standards and provide intuitive interaction.
• Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers, to prioritize issues and facilitate timely resolutions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, and other relevant artifacts.

Requirements:

• Mobile Testing Experience: Previous experience in manual testing of mobile applications will be preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously identify, document, and report even the smallest issues and discrepancies.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to effectively troubleshoot problems and determine root causes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey findings, report bugs, and collaborate with team members.
• Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment and actively contributing to team goals.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of mobile technologies, including mobile operating systems, devices, and application architectures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS CS, BS IT
