Manual Test Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Manual Test Engineer with around 2 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of QA processes and hands-on experience in executing manual test cases for web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
• Log and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Must have knowledge of defect cascading and Selenium WebDriver.
• Must have experience working with GitHub.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure product quality.
• Participate in test review and defect triage meetings.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Experience with JIRA / Bugzilla or similar defect tracking tools.
• Basic understanding of SQL for database validation.
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman) is a plus.
• Good understanding of Agile methodology and sprint testing.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,315.77 - ₹30,289.81 per month
