Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Tester to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software products by designing and executing test plans, identifying issues, and collaborating with development teams to
Deliver Defect-free
- Analyse user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Execute all levels of testing, including System, Integration, and Regression testing.
- Design and develop automation scripts when required.
- Detect, track, and report software defects and inconsistencies.
- Provide timely solutions to defects and issues discovered during testing.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure thorough regression testing is performed.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and improve processes.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet defined quality standards and customer requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis for production issues and provide insights to improve processes.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to understand and test new features.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Apply quality engineering principles throughout the agile product lifecycle.
- Document testing processes, results, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills
- Experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Postman, Selenium, Cypress.
- Proficiency in API testing, including verification of status codes, headers, and payloads.
- Familiarity with testing tools like Postman, BrowserStack, Pingdom, GTmetrix, Lighthouse, PageSpeed.
- Knowledge of API security testing, including authentication techniques (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
- Ability to adapt to new tools, technologies, and testing environments quickly.
Soft Skills
