As a Wire Drawer, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process by transforming raw wire material into precise, high-quality wire products through specialized drawing techniques. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery and contribute to the production of components that meet strict quality and performance standards. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of wire drawing processes, supporting our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. Duties

• Operate wire drawing machines and related equipment to produce consistent, high-quality wire products
• Set up and adjust machinery to meet specifications
• Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers for quality inspection and measurement
• Maintain safety standards by properly handling set-up tools and cranes during operations
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machinery and tooling
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to machining, qulality and process improvements.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in tooling setup, and machining techniques
• Ability to read schedules and follow precise die-setups for precision manufacturing
• Skilled in wire welding
• Familiarity with quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
• Experience with forklift operation and crane safety procedures
• Basic math skills for measurements and process calculations
• Ability to work with hand tools effectively for assembly or fabrication tasks
• Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and quality standards

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• wire drawing / extrusion: 3 years (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
