Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Cost Accountant to oversee cost accounting processes, manage production-related financials, and align cost strategies with organizational goals. This role requires strong analytical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver robust cost-control insights that support growth, efficiency, and long-term competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Accounting: Maintain accurate cost records for raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Budget Management: Develop and monitor production budgets, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to GCC regulations, IFRS standards, and internal policies.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks in manufacturing operations and propose mitigation strategies.
• Collaboration: Partner with production, procurement, and finance teams to align cost strategies with business objectives.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and present insights to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Industrial Engineering.
• 6+ years of cost accounting experience, with at least 3 years in manufacturing-focused roles.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost frameworks and GCC regulatory environments.
• Expertise in ERP systems, Excel, Power BI, and cost accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in multinational or regional food manufacturing organizations preferred.
